Classic Alder Body
The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is built from a lightweight alder body which produces a resonant, well-balanced tone with plenty of clarity. Alder also delivers a pleasing amount of sustain, offering bright highs, well-rounded lows, and a beefy mid-range. Fender have used alder as their tonewood of choice for electric guitars since the 1950s, as the balanced response and defined sound make it perfect for rock and blues genres. Furthermore, the vintage 6-saddle synchronized tremolo and tuners provide a smooth and stable action along with the solid tuning stability required for longer playing sessions.

A set of powerful pickups provide the Squier Affinity Stratocaster with its beautifully crisp, booming sound. Featuring 3 single-coil pickups to create a range of soothingly classic tones, perfect for a variety of musical styles. The 5-position blade lets you switch between the 3 pickups, while the master volume and tone controls provide everything you need to find the desired sound for your playing style.
Maple Neck & Laurel Fingerboard
Constructed from maple, the Affinity's neck produces bright tones with plenty of twang, as well as excellent levels of sustain. This stylish Strat also features a slim, C-shaped neck which provides a comfortable playing experience. Its C-shaped profile allows for a comfortable grip, preventing the likeliness of the cramping hand. Paired with a laurel fingerboard, the Squier Affinity is able to deliver excellent warmth and great depth to the sound.
Resonant Synthetic Bone Nut
Featuring a carefully fitted synthetic bone nut, the Squier Affinity delivers increased resonance and a brighter tonality. When compared to traditional plastic and Tusq materials used to construct guitar nuts, synthetic bone improves the vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.
