Fender Squier LTD Edition Classic Vibe 50s Esquire

Daphne Blue

P/N 0374032504

Description

The Fender Esquire appeared in 1950 and was their first solid body electric guitar,  being a huge milestone for the Fender company and the electric guitar industry.

The Esquire created the way for a whole host of Fender guitars, including the infamous Fender Telecaster, which arrived later in the 1950s decade.

The Squier Ltd Edition Classic Vibe '50s Esquire features a single pickup, installed in the bridge, offering a unique vintage sound, a classic tone, loved by many.

Arriving in three distinctive colours, these Classic Vibe Esquires come with vintage specs and historic accuracies.

Squier Ltd Edition Classic Vibe '50s Esquire Daphne Blue Key Features:

Limited Edition Esquire Electric Guitar

Single Cutaway Body

"C" Shape Neck

Modern 9.5" Radius Maple Fretboard with Period Correct Tint

21 Narrow Tall Frets

Vintage Style Tuners

Vintage-Style Tele Bridge

Vintage Style and Modern Playability

The Squier Class Vibe is a true authentic homeage to the original Fender Esquire delivering a fine balance between vintage style and modern playability.

The Esquire features a Pine/Nato body true to the Esquire style delivering a pure warm twang.

The traditional cutaway of the Tele style body

A Maple neck with period correct tint which has a comfortable "C" shape profile adds traditional feels to this period influenced guitar.

The neck has a matching period correct tint maple fretboard with a modern 9.5" radius for comfortable play and easy, quick fret work.

Alternative Electronics

Different from the two single-coil pickup Telecaster, the Esquire features just one single-coil pickup.

This simple design doesn't mean the Limited Edition '50s' Esquire guitar is without versatility.

The three-position switch offers the player you three distinct options.

In Position 1, you have the pickup going through the volume control with the tone control bypassed. This gives you hotter output producing high-end filled tone that's perfect for playing lead guitar and chunky chops.

Switch it over to the middle setting for Position 2 and the pickup will go through both the volume and tone control and give you a warmer sound, perfect for chord work.

Set it to Position 3 which will bypass the tone control again and activate a "treble roll-off" feature for tone with a lot more bass, great for jazz and many other sound applications.

Retro Style Hardware

This guitar comes with six retro style tuning machines up on the headstock of the Squier Classic Vibe Esquire providing stable and secure tuning matched with old school aesthetics.

The Esquire sports a vintage-style Tele bridge delivering a continuation of the classic vintage style .

The bridge features three chrome barrel saddles, producing that classic Tele twang, adding to the vintage aesthetic of this Classic Vibe '50s Esquire.
