A parlor guitar is a compact and narrow-waisted instrument, generally smaller than Martin’s single 0 size. The name comes from the rooms in which the guitar was typically played in the late 19th century. Today, parlor guitars are finding renewed interest among a broad spectrum of players, both professionals and those looking for small, lightweight instruments
The model has been built using a solid khaya (African mahogany) top and a laminated khaya back and sides for an expressive sound supported by warm bass.
Blues guitarists in particular are sure to appreciate this sound, which can be amplified for live shows or recordings using the built-in Stage-Lâg preamplifier and an acoustic amp or audio interface.
All in all, it's a small, snug-feeling guitar with immense versatility and a delightful, dark-brown finish.
