Tipping the hat to Fender’s iconic guitar body shapes, the Fullerton Series ukuleles are nothing short of electric. The Fullerton Jazzmaster departs from traditional ukulele construction and aesthetics, while remaining faithful to Fender’s history. The Jazzmaster ukulele’s pickguard, signature finish color options, and 4-in-line headstock can only be categorized as quintessentially Fender. The Fullerton Jazzmaster is the perfect choice for the ukulele player looking to inject the spirit of rock ’n roll into every performance.
The main talking point of this ukulele is the way it looks. The double-cutaway body, the pickguard, the finish, and that iconic headstock shape, this ukulele bears a strong resemblance to a Stratocaster, albeit smaller and more ukulele-ish.
Don’t be fooled by the way it looks, however, this instrument is no novelty. This concert-sized ukulele has that classic, bright and sweet, nylon-string ukulele sound you’d hope for. The bridge is a “no-tie” design which makes string changes a far simpler experience than on a traditional ukulele. The Fullerton series also comes with built-in electronics including a Fender-designed preamp so you can easily play live and record. The preamp features volume and tone controls as well as a handy built-in tuner.
