The UKMANGOTS is a tenor-sized ukulele, with its stunning combination of Solid A grade Sitka Spruce top married with the eye catching exotic Mango back and sides, all beautifully bound with Canadian Maple wood and mosaic purfling. This model produces a sound of depth and tone way beyond its price point, and as the solid top wood mature the tone will also, just a great sounding Ukulele.
The exotic Mango Hawaiian wood along with the excellent construction quality make this Freshman tenor ukulele a true gem!
Freshman's ukuleles are consistently well-made, and this Tenor model with mango back and sides is no exception. The mango wood suits the fun nature of the instrument, emphasising its tropical, island vibe. What's more, it imbues the uke with a lovely full sound, further emphasised by the bigger tenor body.
the top is bound with a tasteful strip of abalone, matched by the rosette. The walnut fretboard and bridge are extremely hard, perfect for accurate fingering and resonance transfer. The Geared machine heads ensure rock solid tuning with minimal string slippage, while black buttons further enhance the refined look. White dot fretboard markers contrast well with the dark walnut of the 'board itself. To complete the look, the headstock is capped with the same mango wood used on the back and sides.

We have added a new delivery option for this year.
We will deliver same day between 9am and 6pm ANYWHERE in Cornwall, orders over £299.00.
There are obviously some exclusion , but basically if you place the order during shop hours , and the product(s) are in stock, we will aim to get it to you later that day as long as you are in the County.
We think that is what local shops are for. It's a service for our nearest community of musicians.
