The Squier 40th Anniversary collection celebrates the 40-year journey of Fender’s entry-level brand with special editions of the Telecaster®, Stratocaster®, Jazzmaster®, Precision Bass®, and Jazz Bass®, all available in Gold Edition and Vintage Edition variants.

The Squier® 40th Anniversary Telecaster®, Gold Edition is a stylish model adorned with an eye-catching collection of upscale features for the discerning Squier fanatic. 

Featuring striking gold-plated hardware, a gold anodized aluminum pickguard, a bound Indian laurel fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, an engraved anniversary neck plate and gloss finish throughout, this Tele® is poised and ready for the spotlight. 

Player-friendly refinements of this commemorative model include a slim and comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile for an easy playing feel, vintage-style tuning machines and 3-saddle string-through-body bridge for authentic performance and style, and Fender-Designed single-coil pickups with alnico 5 magnets for familiar Tele tone.

Flawless Construction

This Squier Telecaster Gold Edition features a solid Nyatoh body, a tonewood that’s similar to the warm and mid-rich sound of Mahogany. Joining the Nyatoh body is a Maple neck, carved to a classic “C” neck profile, a smooth Indian Laurel fretboard, 21 frets and the iconic Telecaster headstock. Combined, these tonewoods deliver a balanced, resonant tone and superb playability. No matter what style you play, you’ll be able to glide your hand seamlessly across the frets as well as perform powerful and flexible bends.

Fender Designed Pickups

The Squier Telecaster Gold Edition comes equipped with two Fender Design Single-Coil pickups with Alnico 5 Magnets, providing the bright and snappy tone the Telecaster is known for. The volume and tone control together with the 3-way switch lets you easily adjust your sound and give you full control over your tone, whether you want the classic Tele “Twang” or cleaner, lighter tones.

Quality Hardware

The Squier 40th Anniversary gold Tele is built with a 3-saddle string-through-body bridge that provides rock-solid performance and authentic style. The sleek vintage-style tuners ensure exceptional tuning stability whilst visually complimenting the stylish golden hardware.
